Our company’s “Diamond Difference” is based on our dedication to satisfying you before, during, and after your project has been completed. Integrity is important to us. So we do our very best to deliver what and when we promise and to stand behind our work.
Part of the Diamond Difference is Price Planning Approach and Quality Control Promise. Coupled with our value engineering, you can feel comfortable that you are getting the most value for your investment. The value that only quality can provide.
Being a family business, your project will have the personal attention of one of our family members. Plus our president is always available to you to discuss your project.
Licensed, Bonded, and Insured
Diamond Builders of America is a licensed North Carolina General Contractor, bonded, and insured. We are an active member of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) for several decades. We held leadership positions with the chapter.
We are also an accredited member of the Better Business Bureau of Southern Piedmont (BBB). We have always been committed to being a good corporate member of our community. We are especially proud of our participation in volunteering labor and materials to Arosa House, a home for neglected children.
We pride ourselves on being both professional and easy to work with.
Our team includes members who have been NARI certified remodelers (CR), designers, licensed architects and AIA licensed architects. Our construction team includes a project manager/lead carpenter who is certified by the National Center for Construction Education and Research to not only teach construction skills but also to train instructors and carpenters.
We hand-pick our staff for their skills and experience. And, for your peace of mind, we also do drug screenings and criminal background checks. You can be confident that your home is safe and well-taken care of by capable remodeling professionals.
For projects that require specialty subcontracts, we only choose subcontractors that meet our high standards for quality work, ethics, and professionalism. Most we have worked with for many years. In fact, most of our frame work is done by one of the area’s most sought-after framing contractors which happens to be owned and run by another son of our company president.
Old Fashion Craftsmanship and Teamwork Make Diamond Builders Projects Run Like Well Oiled Machines!
But we do use modern power tools!
Our President – Nick Cicali, CR
Nick’s passion is helping homeowners turn the homes they have into the homes they dream of. And he does so in a manner that provides our clients with a pleasant experience and value. That is why each and every project receives his personal attention.
Nick has been a NARI Certified Remodeler (CR), the highest level of certification NARI offers. He has over 40 years of experience in the remodeling industry. He is highly respected for his many years of service on the board of directors of NARI. Nick currently serves on the advisory board of Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC). In addition, he works with the Construction Industry Education Coalition to help develop programs to train capable, qualified professional remodelers.
Nick is also a strong believer in giving back to the community. He and Diamond Builders have donated much time, leadership, and materials for several years to restore Arosa House, a home for neglected children. He also was selected to be the project coordinator/manager for a joint venture with Habitat for Humanity and Goodwill Industries on a house donated by the City of Charlotte. This house was a “Green Remodel” project, the first of its kind attempted by Habitat and Goodwill. It was known as the “Re-House”. Nick did extensive research into the “Green” capabilities and “return on investment” value of all materials used in the project. He coordinated the workforce of students in construction training at Goodwill Industries, as well as recruited volunteers to work on the project.
In his “spare” time, Nick teaches Sunday School at his local church; served on the Parent Teacher Student Association Board (PTSA) and Business Education Leadership Council – West Charlotte High School and is a classroom mentor.
Nick Cicali has over 40 years of remodeling expertise and service to Charlotte area homeowners.
